Your right to delete data

You have the right to request deletion of any personal data MailZoo holds about you. This page explains how to do that depending on the type of data and how it was collected.

If you are a MailZoo customer

If you have a MailZoo account, you can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

1. Log in to MailZoo at www.mailzoo.net/login
2. Go to Settings → Account
3. Click Delete account
4. Confirm the deletion

All account data, leads, conversations, and connected channel data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account

You can disconnect a connected Page or Instagram Business account at any time:

1. Log in to MailZoo
2. Go to Channels
3. Find the connected Facebook or Instagram channel
4. Click Disconnect

When you disconnect a Page, the access token is deleted immediately. Message history associated with that Page is deleted within 30 days.

You can also remove MailZoo from your Facebook account directly:

1. Go to your Facebook Business Integrations page
2. Find MailZoo in the list
3. Click Remove

When you remove MailZoo from Facebook, Meta will send us a deletion request and we will delete all data associated with your Facebook user account within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation code that you can use to track the request.

If you are a lead who messaged a MailZoo customer's page

If you sent a message to a Facebook Page or Instagram account that uses MailZoo and you want your message data deleted, you have two options:

1. Contact the business directly and ask them to delete your contact record from their MailZoo account.
2. Email privacy@mailzoo.net with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the Facebook Page or Instagram handle you messaged. We will identify your data and delete it within 30 days, and confirm by email.

Manual deletion request

For any other data deletion request not covered above, email privacy@mailzoo.net with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will respond within 7 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile (name, email, password)
• All leads and contacts you imported or that connected to your account
• All conversation history (SMS, email, web chat, Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs)
• All connected channel credentials (Twilio, email, Facebook, Instagram access tokens)
• All AI strategies, qualification flows, knowledge base entries, and templates
• All billing records (except those legally required to be retained for tax/accounting purposes)
